I have been in this industry since 2013 after a career in teaching & learning. I was always interested in holistic therapies and decided to follow my dream having experienced first hand the benefits that regular treatments can bring you.

​

I am a qualified Beauty Therapist Level 2,

Complementary Therapist Level 3, and I am currently studying Advanced Aromatherapy for the complementary therapist Level 4.

​

I worked at The Spa at Raithwaite Estate for 3.5 years, where I have gained a wealth of experience.

​

I am here at the Retreat doing what I love, offering Massage, Reiki & Reflexology to people in the hope they leave after their treatment feeling a little better, and are able to deal with life’s stresses a with ease.

After many years of exploring various healing modalities and teaching meditation, I now work with QEC which incorporates an effective blend of approaches for my clients to create healthy, happier lives.

​

Having experienced the incredible benefits of QEC myself and witnessed client transformations, I know how quick and effective this approach can be.

I offer clients a safe, non judgemental space where they are truly listened to. They may have blocks such as negative beliefs, unresolved trauma and suppressed emotions which can have a huge negative impact on their mind, body and life. QEC empowers the client to heal and create change at the subconscious level.

My name is Janis and I love and embrace the use of different therapies for health and well being. 

​

I have been teaching Hatha Yoga for over 30 years and also practise complimentary therapies. I enjoy working with people so together we can learn to cope with the stresses of life and learn to prioritise, which in turn allows us to deal with all aspects of our busy lives. I love being part of the team at The Retreat, and I do my sessions on a Saturday

​

At the Retreat I hold Workshops on a regular basis. This year, I have held workshops on;

​

 - Aromatherapy where you are able to create your own blends under guidance

Crystals, Crystal grids and Sacred geometry, with this, you take home your own set of crystals.

​

- Herbal workshop to make loose incense so that you can mix your herbal blends to take home.

​

In addition, at Christmas, we will make baubles for manifesting for the coming year, with winter meditation.

If you are interested in becoming attuned to Reiki, I can provide this for you at the Retreat.

I am so excited to be offering yoga classes in my beautiful space that is The Retreat. These classes will be small in numbers for an intimate feel. 

 

Every block of classes has a different theme! Giving you the chance to really immerse yourself in the magical power that is yoga.

 

Slow paced and incredibly relaxing, which makes them perfect for beginners.

Hi I'm Jen, I am 44 yrs old and live in Redcar,

I've been supporting and empowering people for over 20 years in various different roles. I left the Royal Navy in my early 20's and became a fitness instructor, I love helping and supporting others to achieve their goals and gain confidence.

 

I have worked alongside vulnerable adults to make and sustain changes within their lives, empowering them and giving them the tools to live their lives with purpose and I now work with whole families.

 

As I head into a new stage and season in my life I'm focusing more on my strengths and how I can continue to help and support others in different ways.

 

As an Empowerment and Self-development Coach I can work with you to regain your personal power, improve self confidence, achieve your goals and live a life of purpose, fulfilment and joy.

Hi I'm Matty,

I started my journey into wellbeing when at the age of 33 I began to suffer with poor mental health. I was introduced to meditation by Faye and it was the beginning of a growing passion for studying and exploring the benefits of meditation, breathwork and yoga from an emotional, spiritual and scientific perspective.
 

I am a qualified and registered meditation teacher through The British School of Meditation.

I am passionate about helping people manage and improve their mental wellbeing through these practices.

I run courses here at The Retreat for people wanting to learn or expand their meditation practice.
